My Personal Journey
My story is not uncommon, yet it is uniquely mine. Several years ago, I found myself ensnared by the silent predator known as mental trauma. From the outside, my life appeared vibrant and fulfilling. Inside, I was a prisoner to my thoughts and memories, fighting a battle invisible to the naked eye.
It began subtly — a persistent feeling of fatigue, a waning interest in passions that once set my soul on fire, and an unshakable sense of dread. These were the whispers of my declining mental health, which I, in my professional hubris, chose to ignore. It wasn’t until I found myself unable to get out of bed one morning, paralyzed by anxiety and despair, that I faced the truth of my situation.
